Cracks technique

"My cracks represent those wounds, more or less deep, that I managed to repair and close with gold, making them more evident, beautiful and luminous.

It is a long journey, undertaken more than 20 years ago: I started from the textures where hundreds of material flows did not reveal anything underneath and I ended up painting pieces of walls and streets, broken, worn, cracked, lived in, but where through the cracks comes the light of gold. They take on different shapes and their features become more and more marked and evident. I can make them dance, join in a circle, give them life.

Who knows what they will become going forward... what I know is that not all of them can be repaired with gold"
